Behaviour
Good behaviour is encouraged throughout the school. House points and stickers are used to reward children in class, and hence to reinforce good behaviour in a positive way.
Four children are chosen by the dinner ladies each week who have set a good example in the playground and dining hall. These children receive a special sticker in the weekly Good Work Assembly.
There are sanctions for those who choose not to follow the simple rules for class and playground behaviour. For example, there is an area of the playground where a child is able to calm down. If a child behaves inappropriately in the classroom then the child might have to work in another supervised classroom for a reasonable period of time. If a child has not finished a task due to their behaviour then they may have to complete it during break time.
